The blog will also include exclusive content from CNBC International’s anchors, including Squawk Box Europe hosts Steve Sedgwick, Karen Tso and Geoff Cutmore.
The blog will be managed by a team of reporters. CNBC recently hired Spriha Srivastava to help manage the blog. Spriha joins CNBC International from the Financial Times’ Money Management magazine.
“World Markets Live is the latest digital innovation from CNBC as we look to diversify the way we deliver our news,” said Phillip Tutt, managing digital editor of CNBC International, in a statement.
“Our audience are telling us they want a live digital companion which can keep them up to date with all the market movements no matter where they are – we’ve therefore launched ‘World Markets Live.’ Our previous live blog, ‘Squawk Box Live,’ was a huge success so we’re looking forward to being able to provide the service throughout the European trading day.”
