Kathleen Elkins, a personal finance reporter for Business Insider, has been hired by CNBC.
Elkins is at least third hire made by CNBC from Business Insider since Jay Yarow was hired from Business Insider to run its web operations.
Elkins has been at Business Insider since June 2015 and has produced some of its most widely read stories.
She wrote for Business Insider’s “Your Money” vertical, covering a variety of topics, such as managing your money, growing your wealth, the psychology of getting rich, and personal stories of people who have achieved impressive financial accomplishments.
Elkins worked as an intern for Business Insider before that. She is a graduate of Williams College, where she was on the tennis team.
