CNBC.com had its best September ever in terms of both unique visitors and page views.
According to the latest data from comScore Media Metrix, the site was visited by 6.6 million unique users last month, a 37 percent increase compared to the same time period last year, and recorded 371 million page views, a 44 percent increase year-over-year.
CNBC’s mobile applications also scored records for September. CNBC Mobile Web recorded 84 million page views, which represents a 59 percent increase year-over-year, according to Omniture.
CNBC’s iPhone app posted 73 million page views, representing a 101 percent increase year-over-year, and also saw unique visitors increase by 18 percent compared to the same time period as last year, according to Omniture. CNBC’s Android App saw a 97 percent increase in page views year-over-year.
CNBC.com is the No. 1 business news website in minutes per visitor, with users spending an average of 90.8 minutes on the site in September. CNBC.com is also the No. 1 website in pages per visitor, with an average of 56 pages per visitor consumed, more than any other site in the category.
