Doug Palmer, senior trade reporter at Politico, has left the news organization after 13 years.
Palmer has been a reporter in Washington for more than three decades and has been covering trade for more than 20 years.
“Thanks to everyone who has read my stories over the past 37 years and thanks to everyone who helped with those stories by sharing their time and expertise,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
He helped produce the Morning Trade newsletter each morning, and has covered trade negotiations and disputes with China, the EU and all regions of the world.
Palmer is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
