Center for Media and Democracy hires Kotch as investigative reporter

Alex Kotch

Alex Kotch has joined the Center for Media and Democracy as a full-time reporter where he will help the company track corporate money in politics and right-wing political infrastructure.

Previously, Kotch was senior investigative reporter and editor at Sludge. He also worked as a contributor, TYT investigates at TYT Network. He also served as an investigative reporter at Newsweek Media Group.

Additionally, Kotch has worked as a research associate, lecturer, news intern and publicist.

Kotch has a B.A. in music from Brown University. He is also a PhD and M.A. in music composition from Duke University.
