Business Insider reporter Frank Chaparro is leaving the business news website to become a senior correspondent for The Block, which covers the crypto markets.
He starts later this month.
Chaparro has been covering equity and crypto market structure, digital wealth management and Morgan Stanley for Business Insider.
He previously covered financial technology, exchanges, and young Wall Street culture.
Before joining Business Insider in 2017, Chaparro anchored and reported for WFUV Public Radio, an NPR affiliate in the Bronx, and worked at Nasdaq and the New-York Historical Society.
He graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with a degree in international political economy and theology.
In 2016 Chaparro was a finalist for the professional NYC division, Division I Radio-Best News Series and for the Chris Ulanowski Memorial Award for Best News Story in the College Radio Division.
