Weekend editor at Business Insider Benjamin Goggin will be switching beats and transitioning to the role of digital culture editor.
In his new role, Goggin will be covering the internet, memes, influencers and teens.
His new role begins in February.
Before joining Business Insider, Goggin was working independently. Before that, he was a culture editor at Inverse and held the posts of associate editor and news editor at Digg. He has also served as a student body senator and politicorps fellow.
He is also the founder and director of Frontiers Human Rights. Additionally, he has also worked as a finance intern and research assistant.
Goggin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Reed College.
