Danielle Muoio, a tech and auto reporter for Business Insider, has accepted a job at Politico.
Her new job is the New York and New Jersey energy beat, which was formerly covered by Marie French.
She starts Nov. 27.
At Business Insider, Muoio covered innovations in transportation and energy and was a beat reporter for Tesla. She had been there since September 2015.
Her work has appeared in Slate, the Boston Globe, MSN, and Yahoo news, and she previously interned with Bloomberg News and Bloomberg Businessweek.
Muoio is a graduate of Duke University, where she was editor in chief of the student newspaper.
