Business Insider senior reporter Benji Jones is leaving the organization for a position at Vox.
At Vox, he will be joining a new biodiversity reporting initiative launching in April.
Jones has been at Business Insider since December 2018, first as a video producer for science. He has since been an energy reporter and a senior energy reporter since June 2020.
He previously was a freelancer who wrote for New York Times Magazine, Smithsonian, National Geographic, and Quartz.
Jones previously worked at the World Forest Institute and at The Dirzo Lab at Stanford University.
