Business Insider reporter Ciment is departing

Shoshana Ciment

Shoshana Ciment, a reporter covering the retail industry at Business Insider, is leaving.

She has a new job where she will continue to cover footwear and apparel, Ciment wrote on Twitter.

Ciment joined the company in 2019 as a fellow and then became a junior reporter. Prior to joining Business Insider, Ciment was an intern at CBS News.

She has worked as a staff writer, junior news editor, senior news editor and then as managing editor at The Commentator. She has also interned at Playbill and Straus News. She has also contributed to Tailslate.

Ciment holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Yeshiva University.
