Matthew Weinberger, a senior editor at Business Insider, has been promoted to the post of deputy editor.
Weinberger has been with Business Insider for five years. He started off as a tech reporter for the company and then later on was first promoted to the post of senior reporter and then editor.
Before joining Business Insider, Weinberger was with IDG Enterprise working as a reporter covering the ways new technologies from Apple, Google, and Microsoft are changing the face of the modern workforce.
Weinberger also worked freelance for a few years and before that, he was at Nebula Inc. working as a cloud evangelist. He also served as a senior writer at SiliconANGLE and as a blogger at ZDNet. Additionally, he has also held the posts of social media coordinator and freelance writer/columnist at Newsday and the New York Daily News, respectively.
Weinberger is a B.A. in journalism from Stony Brook University.
