Greetings Everyone & Happy Friday!
As you know, we officially launched our “15-5” Reopening Plan about two and a half weeks ago. The 15-5 plan is 15-25 employees in the office, 5 days a week. Although it has been the hottest of hot or the rainiest of rainy outside, our fellow co-workers at all levels have been able to come in and experience the new surreal feel of our office. We have successfully practiced social distancing, entered and exited the space independently and without issues, and have had the experience of comfortable days of work in the office. On average, each week we have had over 10 people on site with the number of requests increasing tremendously as of this week for August returns.
We will continue to monitor the return responses from our survey and schedule folks to come back in accordingly. If you want to sign up for a possible return in the coming weeks, click here. PLEASE ALSO NOTE, THE “15-5” PLAN IS FOR NYC OLP OFFICE ONLY.
What’s our long-term plan?
We want to continue gradually allowing more people into the office on a regular basis between now and July 2021, which as we announced today is when we anticipate a full return to the office. We know that many of you are eager to return now or in the near future and we want to ensure you that we will continue to work on bringing more employees in. We will hopefully be able to increase capacity over time but will always prioritize health and safety. We are aware that many of you have situations that prevent you from planning for a return right now, whether you’re not currently in a commutable distance, are trying to navigate childcare, or just don’t feel ready yet. To reiterate, we will not require employees or teams to return to the office before Summer 2021 and will continue to monitor the situation. CURRENTLY ALL OLP OFFICE RETURNS ARE 100% VOLUNTARY.
What about Studios?
We will continue to have our studios available for shoots every week for booking unless the Studios team gives different directions.
Keep an eye out for a note from our Studios Media Operations Manager Corey Protin with more information about our Studios Revamp Project and a Virtual Tour of the new studios space.
