Business Insider hires three reporters

Business Insider has hired three new reporters, who started Monday.

Matt Weinberger has been hired in the San Francisco bureau as an enterprise tech reporter. Weinberger comes from CITEworld and Computerworld. He is a graduate of Stony Brook University.

Leslie Larson has been hired as a politics reporter. Larson comes from The Daily News, where she spent 21 months, and MailOnline, where she spent 11 months. She is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Texas A&M.

Jason Guerrasio joins Business Insider’s entertainment team as a reporter. Guerrasio was the managing editor at Filmmaker Magazine and freelanced for Vanity Fair, Esquire and Rolling Stone. He has a degree from King’s College.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
