Business Insider has hired Quartz reporter Ashley Rodriguez to cover the future of TV on its media team.
She will start on April 15.
Rodriguez has been covering media and marketing for Quartz, covering the businesses of Hollywood, streaming video, and digital marketing, including companies like Disney, Netflix, and Google.
Previously, she covered retail and financial marketers at Advertising Age. She also worked for creative and marketing agencies, and was a freelance journalist.
Rodriguez has a bachelor’s from Pace University and a master’s in journalism from the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, where she now teaches a course on business journalism.
