Business Insider has hired Tola Onanuga as a weekend news editor based in London.
She will start at the end of the month.
Onanuga was previously the deputy chief sub-editor at Wired in London. For the past two and a half years, she has been freelancing, writing about technology, culture and politics for numerous publications, including Wired, NBC News, Prospect magazine, the Independent, the i, the Guardian, Business Insider, OpenDemocracy, and Huck magazine.
She previously worked at the Guardian for eight years as a sub-editor and reporter.
