Jack Newsham has joined Business Insider as its new senior legal industry reporter covering Big Law and other businesses in the legal industry.
Previously, Newsham was a reporter at ALM Media LLC where he covered the legal industry in New York writing about law firm management and finance among other things.
He was also with Law360 for more than three years, joining as a reporter and then holding the post of court reporter.
Newsham has also covered business news and late-night metro news as a business reporter for The Boston Globe. He has also worked as a freelancer at The New York Times and interned at The Sacramento Bee.
He was also an editorial intern at The American Prospect, fact-checking all contributions to the magazine and conducting research. He also wrote some pieces for the web and authored “The Balance Sheet,” a daily finance and policy newsletter emailed to 34,000 subscribers each morning.
Newsham graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics.
