Business Insider has hired Yeji Jessie Lee to cover cannabis and psychedelics on a full-time basis.
She previously was an editorial fellow at Business Insider covering the same beat.
Lee spent the summer as a contract reporter for The [Toronto] Globe and Mail’s Report on Business vertical, writing features and breaking news stories on the domestic economy, unemployment, and businesses as they attempted to recover from the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
She also worked as an editorial board intern at Newsday.
Lee holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
