Business Insider has hired John Dorman as a senior politics reporter.
“This is a dream role for me and I feel so fortunate to have this opportunity,” he wrote on Twitter.
Dorman has been a writer for The New York Times for the past nine years, writing for various sections, mostly at the Travel Desk. He also designed graphics for the Business Desk, edited domestic and international newsletters, managed the Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts at Travel, and produced digital news and feature special issues.
He also interned at Fast Company magazine.
Dorman is a graduate of Georgetown University.
