Business Insider hires Crain’s Geiger to cover real estate

Dan Geiger

Dan Geiger, a senior reporter at Crain’s New York Business, will be leaving the organization to join Business Insider covering real estate.

His new role begins Monday, April 6.

As a senior reporter, Geiger reported and wrote feature articles for the publication in print and online. He also produced breaking news for the company’s website.

Prior to joining Crain’s, he was a staff reporter for the Observer Media Group where he covered real estate and business. Geiger also served as a senior staff reporter and online editor at Real Estate Weekly.

He has also worked as a contributing writer at both Hi-Fructose Magazine and Hotel Designs. He was also a tour author at GPSmyCITY.com.

Geiger is a B.F.A. in dramatic writing from Purchase College, SUNY.
