Frank Chaparro has been hired by Business Insider as a finance reporter, covering financial technology, exchanges, and young Wall Street culture.
He starts June 5. He has been a finance and markets editorial intern since January 2017.
Previously, Chaparro anchored and reported for WFUV Public Radio, an NPR affiliate in the Bronx, and worked at Nasdaq and the New-York Historical Society.
He graduated from Fordham University in 2017 with a degree in international political economy and theology.
In 2016 Chaparro was a finalist for the professional NYC division, Division I Radio-Best News Series and for the Chris Ulanowski Memorial Award for Best News Story in the College Radio Division.
He is also a member of the New York Press Club.
