Business Insider has hired Daniel T. Allen as a supervising producer.
He will be working to develop new episodic series and special projects to grow the video audience for BI Prime – Business Insider’s subscription service.
He will be reporting to Erica Berenstein, head of Business Insider TV.
Allen began his career producing news and arts-related documentaries for WNET, New York’s PBS station. Most recently he was head of video for Light Reading, a B2B events and content business reaching millions of technology professionals.
