Brodwin joining STAT as health tech reporter

Erin Brodwin

STAT has hired Erin Brodwin as its new health tech reporter, starting Dec. 9.

There, Brodwin will be covering the health care ambitions of big industry names including Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Google and Microsoft.

Previously, she has served as health tech correspondent, science editor and science reporter at Business Insider. She has also experience working as a deputy blogs editor at Scientific American. Brodwin also worked as an editorial intern and director of sustainability resource at Popular Science and UC San Diego respectively.

Brodwin is a graduate of the University of California, San Diego and holds a master’s degree in health and Science reporting from CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
