STAT News has hired reporter Lizzy Lawrence to cover medical devices. She had been at Protocol covering tools and productivity software in the workplace. Lawrence interned at the Baltimore Sun. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan, where she was editor in chief of the Michigan Daily. While in college, she also interned at Kaiser Health News and at USA Today.
