Boston’s NPR station launches Bostonomix

WBUR, Boston’s National Public Ration station, launched Monday a new multi-platform, local journalism initiative called Bostonomix.

The effort will expand WBUR’s business coverage with stories related to innovation, technology, life sciences and entrepreneurship.

Bostonomix news, commentary, analysis, profiles and in-depth interviews will be heard regularly on WBUR programs including “Morning Edition,” “Radio Boston” and “All Things Considered.”

“With Bostonomix, WBUR is committed to reporting on how the ideas being generated here are reinventing the business community, the culture and our economy,” said Charlie Kravetz, WBUR general manager, in a statement.

Its editorial team will be led by WBUR executive director of news content Richard Chacon and will include WBUR reporters Bruce Gellerman and Zeninjor Enwemeka. Boston Globe columnist Scott Kirsner will be a regular Bostonomix contributor featured weekly.
