The Boston Globe has hired Pranshu Verma to be a technology reporter.
He will start in June.
Verma has been a reporter and David Rosenbaum fellow in the Washington, D.C. bureau of The New York Times for the past year. He helps cover the State Department, Transportation Department and economic sanctions.
He previously was a fellow at the Philadelphia Inquirer covering New Jersey politics.
Verma holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Delaware and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
