Tom Metcalf, who has covered wealth for Bloomberg News for the past eight years, has been named team leader for coverage of British banks.
Metcalf has been with Bloomberg since June 2012 in London, San Francisco and New York. He has reported on billionaires, financial crime and wealth.
He is a former accountant with Deloitte UK who worked on the technology, media and telecom team for three months.
Metcalf has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Durham University and a master’s degree in financial journalism from City University in London.
