Bloomberg News reporter Kelly Gilblom is now covering European oil companies such as BP and Shell from its London bureau.
She previously was covering natural gas markets.
Gilblom has been with Bloomberg since June 2014 and also spent time in its New York office covering oil and gas companies before moving to London in 2015. She previously worked for Reuters in Nairobi, Kenya, covering the energy industry in east Africa.
Gilblom got her start in business journalism at the Puget Sound Business Journal covering banks, finance and wealth management companies.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a master’s degree in science writing from Columbia University.
