Bloomberg promotes Alloway and Nagi to executive editor

Bloomberg editor in chief John Micklethwait announced a few promotions in the newsroom.

Tracy Alloway and Chris Nagi have been promoted to executive editors and report directly to Chris Collins, senior executive editor for breaking news and markets.

Alloway continues to manage cross-asset markets coverage and will take over responsibility for the TOP Live events blog. She will also continue to co-host Bloomberg Markets Middle East based in Dubai.

Nagi will continue to oversee equities coverage, ensuring that we remain smart, timely and competitive.

Madeleine Lim will continue to be the lead on all markets coverage but will spend more time focusing on macro and emerging markets, the progress of the new First Word, and other products.

Clay Eltzroth will take a lead on Bloomberg’s social media content and the technology supporting it, reporting to executive editor Steve Foxwell and will work closely with Mindy Massucci on the forthcoming Twitter TV initiative.
