Stacie Sherman, who has run Bloomberg’s Trenton bureau, will now also oversee Bloomberg’s Princeton office in the new position of New Jersey bureau chief, according to a memo to the newsroom Tuesday from Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait.
Along with her role as an adjunct TOP editor, Sherman will manage the Princeton-based news staff and Elise Young, Bloomberg’s statehouse reporter in Trenton.
Sherman has been with Bloomberg since July 1997 and has been Trenton bureau chief since May 2005. Before that, she covered energy companies and edited stories about municipal finance, aerospace, defense and energy companies for Bloomberg.
She previously worked for the Asbury Park Press and is a graduate of Trenton State College.
