Bloomberg News has named Alan Katz as its Paris bureau chief.
He previously ran Bloomberg’s investigations team in Europe and spent the decade before that as an investigative reporter focused on financial crime. Katz covered European carmakers when he first joined Bloomberg in 2002.
He has also worked for the U.S. Department of Energy, Dow Jones, the International Herald Tribune and a tech magazine based in the Netherlands.
