Crayton Harrison has been named managing editor for company news coverage in the Americas at Bloomberg News.
He previously had been the news organization’s telecom, media and entertainment editor in the Americas.
Harrison has also been the U.S. health and science editor, responsible for a team of health-care reporters covering pharmaceuticals, biotech, insurance and hospitals.
He joined Bloomberg in January 2007 as a telecommunications reporter. Before that, he worked at the Dallas Morning News as a technology reporter.
Harrison is a graduate of Southern Methodist University.
