Bloomberg Media announced an agreement Thursday to create a business news brand in Latin America and the Caribbean with another media company.

Launching later in 2021, Bloomberg Línea will include digital products in both Spanish and Portuguese.

It will feature translated Bloomberg content and reporting produced by a team of more than 70 staff from around the regions.

“As a leading global business media company, Bloomberg Media provides a trusted and differentiated multi-platform content offering that reaches decision makers and business leaders across international markets,” said M. Scott Havens, chief growth officer and global head of strategic partnerships, Bloomberg Media, in a statement. “Bloomberg Línea expands our global footprint in Latin America with massive scale, reaching Spanish and Portuguese audiences who are looking for trusted, premium, global business news and solutions-driven journalism rooted in data.”

The partner is Falic Media, a member of the Falic Group of Companies, a conglomerate that includes travel retail/duty-free stores and brand boutiques, news and gift and convenience stores, food and beverage, fashion and beauty brands, consumer product distribution and e-commerce, gas stations, and hotels.
