Bloomberg editor Komarow leaves for CQ Roll Call

Komarow, who will report to chief content officer David Ellis, will start on Jan. 15.

He was also a defense correspondent for USA Today for 12 years, reporting from more than 20 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. He opened USA Today’s Berlin bureau in 2000.

“When Steve expressed an interest in joining CQ Roll Call, we knew we were being presented with a unique opportunity to make a strategic hire for our newsroom,” said CQ Roll Call executive vice president and managing director Keith White.

Komarow is also an adjunct lecturer for Northwestern University’s D.C. program and holds a B.A. in political science from George Washington University.
