Kartikay Mehrotra, who covered cybersecurity for Bloomberg News in San Francisco, has left the news organization.
He wrote on Twitter that he has a new opportunity.
Mehrotra has been covering cybersecurity for the past two years. He previously was a legal reporter writing about litigation and legal affairs, including Trump litigation, immigration, diesel cheating challenges and internet privacy cases.
He previously was with Bloomberg in India as a trade reporter, tech reporter and then an economy and government reporter.
Mehrotra holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois-Springfield.
