Nancy Dahlberg, the new Business Monday editor at the Miami Herald, wrote in her column Monday about some changes to the section, including a new column by Gregg Fields, and she also requested input from readers about what they want.
Dahlberg wrote, “I want Business Monday to be that for you. I also want the section and the website to be an agenda-setter for the South Florida economy, whether the issue is pro sports, affordable housing, the insurance crisis or immigration. I want it to be full of voices, ideas, analysis.
“I also want Business Monday to be fun to read. It should include stories and columns about business culture as well as the idiosyncrasies and shenanigans of corporate America, told with a dose of humor. To that end, check out Gregg Fields’ new column on Page 18. It’s called Money Talks.
“And above all, Business Monday should be useful. With 90 percent of our businesses in the small category, we’ll continue to bring you coverage such as Jim Wyss’s story on Page 11. If you haven’t cruised the new small-business site on MiamiHerald.com, it’s worth the trip. We’ve also recently added a section on the homeowners insurance crisis on MiamiHerald.com, and will be adding more features in coming months.
