Mark Beech

Mark Beech, a longtime Bloomberg News employee in London, has died. He was 60.

Beech was a TV news editor and head of graphics for Bloomberg in London from January 1997 to January 2005. He then was head of Bloomberg Muse in Europe and Asia, and then globally, until leaving the company in 2015.

Beech also wrote for Forbes magazine as a contribitor. Beech most recently was editor of Dante magazine.

His book “All You Need is Rock,” published by Thistle in 2014, is a collection of a decade’s worth of writing as the rock critic for Bloomberg News, where I helped run Muse, the art/ luxury/ lifestyle section. His other books include “The Dictionary of Rock & Pop Names.”
