Roger Harrabin will be leaving the BBC in June after 35 years reporting on environment and energy.
Harrabin, an environment analyst at the BBC was also the founder presenter of BBC Environment program, Costing the Earth. He has reported from many countries and interviewed personalities. He has reported on environmental issues since the 1980s.
He began his career in print, reporting for programs including Panorama, The World At One, The Ten O’ Clock News and Radio 4’s Today. At the BBC, he has reported for media platforms, including television, radio and online.
Additionally, during a sabbatical at Green Templeton College, where he currently is an associate fellow, he produced a King’s Fund paper called Health in the News which analyzed how many people needed to experience a health problem for it to make national news.
