Bartiromo named a top digital influencer

Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo has been named one of the Rise Global’s top 100 Digital Influencer.

She is in the No. 6 spot and the only business journalist in the top 50.

Rise is a success tracking network that covers market performance of the major global players, mostly in the venture capital and tech worlds. Bartiromo is the only TV anchor on the list due to her coverage of emerging trends across tech, business and health care.

Bartiromo joined Fox Business Network as global markets editor in January 2014. She is the anchor of “Mornings with Maria” and anchors “Sunday Morning Futures,” the most-watched Sunday morning program on cable on Fox News.

In April 2017, Bartiromo was named the new anchor for the weekly primetime investing program “Wall Street Week.”
