Bartiromo: My show is to set the tone for the day

Fox Business Network anchor Maria Bartiromo appeared on the “Late Show with Seth Meyers” on Tuesday night to talk about how she prepares for her show every morning.

Bartiromo said, “I get up about 3:15 to 3:30. It’s not great, but I love being on the air from 6 to 9, setting the tone. It’s the first thing in the morning, so I love that.”

When Meyers asked her what she covered on the show, Bartiromo replied, “A little of what happened overnight, but also sort of what’s happening right now. Certainly the overseas markets, Europe and Asia. It’s broad stories, but with an economic angle.”

  • Why does Fox Business channel insist on that incredibly irritating digital alarm everytime the breaking news banner pops up? Cavuto is already all the pompous selfserving irritation I can take.
