Barron’s reporter Bary moving to MarketWatch

Emily Bary

Barron’s reporter Emily Bary sent out the following message on Tuesday:

Dear Barron’s family,

Today is my last day on this end of the fourth floor. Tomorrow I head down the hall to become a tech reporter for Marketwatch, where I’ll be covering Apple, Samsung, Fitbit, and other hardware companies.

I began my career at Barron’s in elementary school, walking around the downtown offices and offering to open everyone’s mail. A decade later, after technology destroyed that job, you all welcomed me back here and taught me the ropes. It’s been a delight to start my reporting career working alongside such talented and kind colleagues. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Barron’s team and I’m excited about what’s to come for the publication.

I won’t be moving far, and my Barron’s email should still work if you want to keep in touch electronically.

Thanks for a great three years,

Chris Roush
