Barron’s has hired Marc Lajoie as a senior data journalist.
He will start next week.
Lajoie has been working for CNN as visuals editor for “As Equals,” CNN International’s long-term project on gender inequality. He previously was with CBC/Radio Canada as a data journalist and also worked for the South China Morning Post as an Americas correspondent.
Lajoie also worked for the China Daily in Hong Kong and for The Wall Street Journal Asia in Hong Kong as a multimedia editor.
He has a bachelor’s degree from McGill University and a master’s degree from the University of Bolton.
