Bancroft member leaves Atlantic City broke!!!

The Spoof, a satirical news web site based out of England, is reporting that Corky Bancroft, a relatively unknown member of the Bancroft family that recently agreed to sell The Wall Street Journal to News Corp. CEO Rupert Murdoch, has squandered his cut of the deal already at a casino.

The Spoof wrote, ” After a tumultuous week on Wall Street that resulted in banks around the world stepping in to rescue the credit market, the final member of the Bancroft Family to sell out to Rupert Murdoch has left Donald Trump’s casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey — a hollow shell of his former self.

“Corky Bancroft, who literally has done nothing his entire life but live off of his family’s fortune, took to the streets on Friday without enough money to even hail a taxi.”

Read more here. And with that, I think the coverage of the Bancroft family has reached a new level.
