Axios recently welcomed two new editors to its staff: Jennifer Kingson and Michele Salcedo.

Kingson joined Axios as the managing editor of business, where she oversees the coverage of markets, banking real estate, and other financial topics. She’s at the helm of both the Axios Markets and Axios edge newsletters.

Salcedo is the organization’s news desk editor, where she works closely with a team of editors and apprentices to continue breaking news online.

Prior to joining Axios, Kingson was an editor at The New York Times, working primarily on the business, national and science desks, assigning stories and managing lines of coverage. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter and editor at The American Banker, a stringer for The New York Times and a reporter for The Boston Globe.
