Axios has hired Fortune magazine reporter Lucinda Shen to cover financial technology.
She will start in December.
Shen has been the primary writer of Fortune magazine’s private equity/venture capital email newsletter Term Sheet.
“I love Fortune and always will—I have been lifted up so many times by editors and coworkers here,” she wrote on Twitter.
Shen had been writing for the IPO section of the newsletter before becoming the primary writer. She has also written about finance, markets, and cryptocurrencies.
Shen joined Fortune.com as a reporter in 2016. Shen is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in journalism. Before joining Fortune, she interned at Business Insider, where she covered the financial industry.
