Ed Arnold has been hired as the managing editor of the San Antonio Business Journal.

San Antonio Biz Journal editor Tony Quesada writes, “Ed Arnold comes to the San Antonio Business Journal from Memphis, Tennessee, where he was a small electronics retail store owner-turned part-time columnist-turned full-time business journalist. His off-the-beaten path took him to one of our sister papers, the Memphis Business Journal, where he excelled as its digital producer before we learned about him in San Antonio. Once our staff met him, we knew he was the right fit and someone who will help elevate our work.

“Ed said his time as an entrepreneur gave him a unique perspective and understanding of what it takes to run a small business.

“‘That background has been an invaluable resource for me as a business journalist,’ he said. ‘Being able to react on the fly is key to running both a small business and a newsroom. I’m excited to get started.'”
