The Associated Press has hired Bloomberg Industry reporter Fatima Hussein to cover the Treasury Department.
Hussein has been covering worker safety and environmental law stories for Bloomberg Law and Bloomberg Environment. She has also been president of the Washington Baltimore News Guild.
Before Bloomberg, she was a legal affairs reporter at the Indianapolis Star and a legal and workplace reporter at the Cincinnati Enquirer. She was also a business reporter at the Daytona Beach News-Journal.
Hussein holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Florida and a law degree from Florida Coastal School of Law.
