Trevor Davis of the Oregon Daily Emerald writes Thursday about University of Oregon economics professor Mark Thoma and his blog The Economist’s View, which aims to educate financial journalists on the economy.

This is an extremely misleading post. Thoma is a highly regarded blogger and for good reason, he's very smart. But he's also very, very biased. Reading his blog alone does little to create a more accurate picture of the economy. You really need to read a mix of both left-leaning and right-leaning economics bloggers to do that.
