Reuters makes layoffs on Americas desk
Reuters had made a number of layoffs, reports Daniel Lippman of Politico. Lippman writes, “Toni Reinhold, editor-in-charge of the Americas desk; Clive McKeef, deputy editor of the Americas desk; and Daniel Bases, U.S. public finance editor, were all let go. London-based technology correspondent Eric Auchard is also leaving. Reinhold and Bases declined to comment and McKeef and Auchard didn’t respond to requests for comment. […]
