Biz magazines underperform industry in first quarter

The 14 business magazines underperformed the rest of the magazine industry in the first quarter, according to data from Publishers Information Bureau. Combined, the business titles reported a 2.95 decrease in advertising revenue to $245.4 million and a 5.9 percent drop in advertising pages to 2,289.43.
