Ethan Wu is leaving the Financial Times to become the Asia correspondent for The Economist.
Wu has been at the Financial Times since November 2021 covering finance in New York.
At the Financial Times, he hosts the twice-weekly “Unhedged” podcast on markets and finance. He also co-writes the Unhedged daily newsletter.
Before joining the FT, Wu worked at Business Insider and Adweek and studied economics at Cornell University.
